My Australian friends tell me a lot  of funny things!!!!
Those idioms is quite amusing A_A
I think idioms is a entertaining method to learn English (more funny than English lessons XDDD )

1.) Blood is worth bottling

If an Australian says to you "Your blood is worth bottling", he/she is complimenting or praising you for doing something or being someone very special.

2.) Cut down the tall poppies

If people cut down the tall poppies, they criticise people who stand out from the crowd.

3.) Dog-whistle politics

When political parties have policies that will appeal to racists while not being overtly racist, they are indulging in dog-whistle politics.

4.) On the wallaby track

In Australian English, if you're on the wallaby track, you are unemployed.

haha, didnt even know about the blood bottling or wallaby track. i thought that we only compliment someone by saying that "blooooooody greeat mate!" or that Wallaby is a smaller and tastier version of kangaroo.

cut down to size/ cut down the tall poppies/sticking up for the underdogs - same/similar meanings - meaning that if you stand too tall/arragont etc... people will be AGAINST you, or else siding with the perceive (what seems to be) the weaker side.
